Access Scholarship Fund

Palliative Medicine Access Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support (including registration and $500 in travel expenses) to US-based physicians currently working in hospice and palliative medicine to attend the 2012 Annual Assembly. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously attended the Assembly and who have demonstrated both a commitment to the field of hospice and palliative care and the need for scholarship funds to facilitate their attendance. Donating to the Fund

Consider donating to the Palliative Medicine Access Fund to support scholarships for physicians to attend future AAHPM Annual Assemblies. There are two ways to make a donation:

  1. Mail a check to
    AAHPM Palliative Medicine Access Fund
    PO Box 839
    Glenview, IL 60025-0839.

  2. Call AAHPM at 847.375.4712 and use your credit card.

  3. Enter an amount to donate on the Annual Assembly Registration Form.

AAHPM qualifies for tax-exempt status under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a not-for-profit corporation. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisors for information about the deductibility of these donations.
