PC-FACS (Fast Article Critical Summaries for Clinicians in Palliative Care)

PC-FACS (Fast Article Critical Summaries for Clinicians in Palliative Care), an electronic publication of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, provides palliative care clinicians with concise summaries of the most important findings from more than 50 medical and scientific journals. Each month, structured summaries and insightful commentaries on 6-10 articles help palliative care clinicians stay on top of the research that is critical to contemporary practice. PC-FACS is a benefit of AAHPM membership and members can earn up to 3 CME credits quarterly.

Each quarter AAHPM members can take a posttest of 15 questions based on the summaries of PC-FACS articles. Three credits of CME will be given if 12 of the 15 questions are answered correctly. The CME fee is $15 for each posttest. AAHPM is phasing out the CME program for PC-FACS. The final posttest will be for the first quarter 2010 PC-FACS. Learn more about the CME Program .
