As of April 2008, there are a total of 64 active programs (with several in formation), offering 149 fellowship positions including 21 research slots (marked with an R). A total of 32 programs (marked with an *) have been accredited by the Palliative Medicine Review Committee (PMRC) as being in compliance with the Fellowship Program Standards.
