Family Medicine Physician

The Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) seeks a family medicine physician with special interest and training in Geriatric health for a faculty position at the University of New Mexico (UNM).  This position will serve as coordinator for geriatric teaching in the DFCM.  A month-long geriatric rotation is required of all FP residents and home care and nursing home care continuity experiences are offered to medical students, residents and fellows.  Curriculum development, clinical teaching and student evaluation will be an integral part of the position.  Supervision and teaching of residents in long term care settings will also be included in the job responsibilities.
