Palliative Care Physician

Lenox Hill Hospital, a six hundred fifty two bed teaching hospital located on Manhattan's Upper East Side, seeks a physician that is fellowship trained in Pain and Palliative Medicine as well as board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Care. 

The ideal candidate will have worked as a Palliative Care physician in the inpatient setting and will possess the knowledge and determination to help establish a Palliative Care Consultation Service in a large urban general hospital.  Recent graduates of training programs will also be considered. The successful candidate will work well with colleagues across disciplines; will have the opportunity to integrate Palliative Medicine teaching into multi-specialty residency and fellowship training programs, and to contribute to scholarship through research and writing.
