HUMANITIES and SPIRITUALITY
The Humanities and Spirituality SIG will provide a forum within AAHPM for members to share resources in humanities and spirituality that benefit professional education and patient care; help us promote and teach empathy and compassion; promote research in the use of humanities and spirituality in patient care and education; and promote a holistic, integrative approach to palliative medicine that acknowledges cultural, spiritual and psychosocial aspects of care of patients, families and caregivers.
