SAFETY NET

Purpose

The purpose of the Safety Net SIG is to advocate and share strategies for equitable access to quality palliative care and end-of-life care; promote education and outreach to vulnerable populations; raise awareness and define best practices in serving vulnerable patients for the larger hospice and palliative care communities; and coordinate research initiatives relevant to reducing disparities and barriers in end-of-life care for racially and culturally diverse, medically underserved patient populations.

Membership in the Safety Net SIG allows you the benefit of participating in an AAHPM sponsored Listserv.
