Member Get A Member
As a member of the Academy, you enjoy many benefits of membership, including
- networking with colleagues who are passionate about the specialty
- staying informed on the latest in hospice and palliative care through professional publications
- practicing smarter with comprehensive learning opportunities at conferences, courses, and other venues.
Here's an opportunity to share these benefits and help build the field of palliative medicine. AAHPM wants you to help us spread the word about the benefits of membership in AAHPM. Recruiting a colleague into AAHPM is a "Members Only" opportunity, and your recruitment efforts will be rewarded! For every new member you recruit, your name will be entered into a drawing to win your choice of either a 16GB iPod touch or 8GB iPhone. Recruit as many new members as you can between now and August 31, 2008. Each new member you recruit increases your chances to win!
Not sure how to get started?
- Call AAHPM at 847/375-4712 or e-mail info@aahpm.org to ask for membership materials and distribute them to colleagues. Or you can e-mail your referrals to info@aahpm.org, and we'd be happy to send them membership materials.
- Tell your colleagues to visit the AAHPM Web site (www.aahpm.org). The Web site has complete information on membership benefits as well as upcoming courses and educational resources. There is also a membership application that can be printed and mailed or faxed into the office. Be sure to ask them to include your name at the top of the application where it asks "Referred by."
- Invite colleagues to AAHPM courses or the Annual Assembly.
Participate in the Member-Get-A-Member campaign and help strengthen AAHPM and grow the field of hospice and palliative medicine!
