AAHPM received grant money from ABIM Foundation to roll-out its recommendations in Choosing Wisely campaign

The money will fund:

• Outreach to national organizations active in hospice and palliative care and related national medical societies who have identified an interest in working with AAHPM

• Development of a live educational presentation on AAHPM's recommendations suitable for national and state conferences

• Preparation and hosting of a webinar aimed at helping practitioners overcome barriers to implementing AAHPM's recommendations

• Leveraging of AAHPM's broad social networks to promote AAHPM activities and messaging related to its recommendations

• Research to assess and measure attitudes, awareness and adoption of AAHPM's recommendations
