But you may sometimes wonder which doctor you should talk to about your overall treatment plan, or your struggles with physical or emotional pain. The palliative doctor and team can coordinate your care by working continually with your other doctors to be sure everyone understands and is following the treatment plan. Additionally, the palliative team can help guide you through the complicated and often-confusing healthcare system.
